Every Zero Deposit applicant signs the Workium Service Agreement at submission — before matching. You have 3 calendar days to withdraw at no cost. After the 3-day window, milestone fees become payable as work progresses. The signed agreement is available for download as a PDF from your dashboard.
When you sign and what you are signing
The Workium Service Agreement is signed on screen at the moment you submit your application — that is, BEFORE Workium reserves you a slot and BEFORE we appoint a Partner Agency. The agreement is between you and Workium Ltd (UK company, registered in England and Wales). It sets out everything Workium will do for you, what you will pay, when you will pay, the protections built into the programme, and the legal consequences if you default. You cannot submit your application without signing.
You may withdraw from the Programme WITHOUT any payment becoming due by giving written notice to support@workium.co.uk within 3 calendar days of the date your Service Agreement is signed.
No questions are asked during the cooling-off window. We aim to acknowledge the withdrawal request within 1 business day.
If you withdraw after the 3-day cooling-off window has expired, you remain fully liable for:
• Any milestone fee that has already become due and payable. • The next milestone fee in full, where work undertaken by Workium or the Partner Agency has materially progressed your case (for example, employer matching has been confirmed, the employment-document pack has been requested or prepared, or the visa application has been lodged). • Any reasonable third-party costs that Workium has irrevocably committed to on your behalf before your withdrawal notice is received (e.g. translator fees, courier fees, police-clearance fees).
Loss of interest, change of mind, change of personal or financial circumstance, inability or unwillingness to attend biometrics, employer change of mind, or refusal of dependants' visas are NOT grounds to avoid liability after the cooling-off window has expired.
If a milestone fee is not paid by its due date, Workium will (i) pause work on your case, (ii) accrue interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate plus a fixed admin fee, and (iii) if more than 14 days overdue, treat the agreement as repudiated and pursue civil recovery in the courts of England and Wales. You have submitted to that jurisdiction by signing the agreement. Workium may also (where lawful) report the default to credit reference agencies and retain the record for our own future-eligibility decisioning.
Go to your Workium dashboard → Zero Deposit tab → 'Agreement' panel. Click 'Download PDF'. The PDF contains the exact agreement text you signed, your typed signature line, the signing timestamp and your application id.
