In addition to long-term work relocation, Workium provides support for short-term visa applications for tourist and business travel to Europe.

What Are Short-Term Visas?

Short-term visas (also known as Schengen visas, tourist visas, or C-type visas) allow you to visit European countries for:

Tourism and leisure travel
Business meetings, conferences, and trade fairs
Family visits
Medical treatment
Cultural, sporting, or academic events
Short-term training or courses (not employment)

Typical duration: Up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

Required Documents (General Schengen Visa)

Valid passport (6+ months validity, at least 2 blank pages)
Completed visa application form (we help you fill this out correctly)
Two recent passport photographs (per embassy specifications)
Travel insurance covering minimum EUR 30,000 (we can recommend providers)
Flight reservation (round-trip itinerary)
Accommodation proof (hotel booking, invitation letter, or rental confirmation)
Bank statements showing sufficient funds (typically last 3-6 months)
Employment letter from your current employer (or business registration if self-employed)
Invitation letter from host (if visiting someone or attending a business meeting)
Cover letter explaining the purpose of your trip

How to Apply

2Complete the application form with your travel details
3Upload required documents through our portal
4Pay the service fee
5Receive your complete document pack and submission guidance
6Book your embassy or VFS appointment
7Attend your appointment with all prepared documents
8Wait for processing (typically 10-15 working days)

Processing Times

Standard processing: 10-15 working days after appointment. Some embassies offer express processing for an additional fee. Apply at least 6-8 weeks before your planned travel date to allow for any delays.

IMPORTANT: Short-term visas do NOT allow you to work. For employment, you need a work visa processed through our standard relocation packages.
