Every invoice Workium issues has a due date. If you pay late, a late payment penalty of 5% of what you owe is added — and it is charged again every week the invoice stays unpaid. Continued non-payment can lead to cancellation of your services and rescindment of any documents already issued, which cannot be reversed. Pay on or before the due date to avoid it, and email billing@workium.co.uk before the due date if you expect a delay.
Your invoice has a due date
Every invoice Workium issues shows a clear due date, which is usually a few days from the date the invoice is sent to you. To keep your application or service moving without interruption, please settle each invoice in full on or before its due date.
If an invoice is not paid by its due date, a late payment penalty of 5% of the outstanding payment is added to the amount you owe. This 5% penalty is charged for every week the invoice remains unpaid — so it repeats weekly, and the total you owe keeps growing for as long as the invoice stays overdue. When a penalty is applied, it is added to your invoice as a separate line, your total amount due increases, and you receive an email titled "Late payment penalty applied" that shows the penalty added and your new total. The invoice remains payable through the same secure payment link as before.
The penalty exists to keep things fair for everyone: unpaid invoices hold open reserved slots, employer commitments and casework, and prompt payment lets us keep your process moving.
If an invoice remains unpaid, Workium reserves the right, at any time, to cancel the services connected to your application and to rescind (withdraw and permanently invalidate) any documents already issued to you — including, where applicable, your offer, confirmations, sponsorship or supporting documents. This step can be taken at any time while the invoice is outstanding, and once taken it cannot be reversed. Any reserved slots, employer commitments or progress tied to your application may be permanently lost.
If you know you will not be able to pay by the due date, email billing@workium.co.uk BEFORE the due date. We are far more flexible with people who flag a delay early than with invoices that quietly pass their due date. Get in touch and we will do our best to help.
For anything about your invoice, its due date, or a penalty on your account, contact hello@workium.co.uk or billing@workium.co.uk.
