What is the EU Blue Card?

The EU Blue Card is a fast-track residence and work permit for highly qualified professionals who hold a recognised university degree and a qualifying job offer in an EU country. Workium runs full end-to-end EU Blue Card programmes for Germany, Austria, Poland and Portugal — from qualification assessment and degree recognition to employer matching and your residence permit.

Pricing and the 3-installment payment plan

Every EU Blue Card programme is paid in three installments. The first installment starts your application, the second is due in the second month of your application, and the final installment is due upon signing your employment offer.

Germany EU Blue Card: 2,500 EUR total — 950 EUR to start, 900 EUR in month two, 650 EUR on signing your offer.

Austria EU Blue Card: 2,900 EUR total — 900 EUR to start, 1,000 EUR in month two, 1,000 EUR on signing your offer.

Poland EU Blue Card: 2,800 EUR total — 850 EUR to start, 975 EUR in month two, 975 EUR on signing your offer.

Portugal EU Blue Card: 2,800 EUR total — 850 EUR to start, 975 EUR in month two, 975 EUR on signing your offer.

What is included

Every programme includes the EU Blue Card application, degree-recognition liaison, job matching with vetted employers, family reunification guidance, and a salary-threshold compliance check. Government, embassy and third-party fees are not included and are paid separately.
